Assisting South Wales Police
Race Equality First are working with South Wales Police to assist them in recruiting PCSO's.
We are assisting them to disseminate employment information across the various diverse communities within Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan.
They have produced information about the role in various languages (which are obtainable from REF if desired).
REF have offered to assist applicants in completing their online application forms and to those that have been offered an interview, we will further assist with preparation for such.
There are 4 dates scheduled by the Police for informing potential applicants about the role.
The dates are Tuesday 14th April 2-3:30pm and 6-7:30pm and Tuesday 21st April - 2-3:30pm and 6-7:30pm at the Butetown Pavilion, Butetown, Cardiff. Applicants can attend either one of these four information events.
These workshops will provide an opportunity for you to understand the recruitment process, speak to PCSO's about the role, and ask questions you may have about South Wales Police as an employer.
Starting salary for these positions will be £19,326 p.a. rising to £21,402 p.a. plus weekend enhancements and a 14% shift allowance.
